The boar has always been one of the inhabitants of our forests and our countryside;on this majestic animal, there are told stories, so as to promote it, not only for its culinary fascination, but also as a true symbol of the wildlife and the force of nature.
As a consequence of secular cohabitation with this wild species, the wild boar meat is an absolute mainstay in Tuscan cuisine.
Together with salami and typical stews there is prepared a tasty and popular wild boar sauce.
The ideal pasta for the Boar Meat Sauce is pappardelle and maltagliati, although it is so tasty that it can match even with simple penne rigate.
To fully enjoy a typical Tuscan dish, you don’t have to do anything but fill a bowl with a nice plate of pappardelle with wild boar sauce and fill the glass with a red wine of our parts, perhaps with a nice Chianti … then it only remains to say, Bon Appetit!
