Baci e Abbracci is a blend of aromatic herbs that enhance the taste of meats whether cooked in a pan, in the oven or on the grill. The use of aromatic herbs in the kitchen has always accompanied man. Used for preserving but also for their beneficial properties, aromatic plants give something more to each dish.
A first evidence of the use of aròmate in Roman cuisine dates back to the 4th century AD. and in the “De re coquinaria” Apicius mentions it. Subsequently all the greatest chefs have used aromatic herbs to create real recipes. In France it was the cook Guillaume Tirel, in the service of Charles V and Charles VI, who described the specific use of each herb in “Le Viandier” of 1330.
Braci e Abbracci is a blend of Mediterranean herbs with the addition of sea salt: rosemary, juniper, garlic, sage, basil with their essentials give each dish character and flavor.
